My office loves to eat. Fortunately, we all love to cook and share – a perfect combo for frequent potlucks. I confess a deep love for UDG potlucks because of our multi-ethnic culture. Sushi to smoked beef, curry to chocolate cake, we have it all in a typical potluck (even at Thanksgiving).
The Captain of Fun and Party Planner Extraordinaire just had to start the new year off with a potluck. As usual, we had a great batch of food and very full happy tummies.
But we didn’t just stuff our faces. We also collected food for our local Food Bank. Our goal was 200 pounds of food.
Grand total dropped off at the North Texas Food Bank yesterday morning?
315 pounds
It feels great helping others while having fun at the same time!
