I’m always on the lookout for the best deal. Why pay MSRP when you can get it for a better price?
I do have my limits. I’m not buying things that I wouldn’t normally buy just to get a deal. And I’m not driving all over town, using up copious amounts of gasoline to get the best deal. After all, it wouldn’t be a deal then, would it?
It seems these days that retailers love Buyer Loyalty cards. Sign up, sign in and you my friend can get the best deal. All they take from you is your personal shopping history.
If I was a Big Brother fanatic, I might avoid this marketing strategy. But I just love the deal too much to say no to my favorite retailers.
This week, I realized things were a little out of control when I gave the LA Fitness clerk my Kroger card. Now he knows what I eat and that I should go to the gym much more often!
lucky me, my grocery store doesn’t have a discount card! lol Now, where I work does, Varney’s does, grocery stores I don’t use do (but I still have their cards), etc. I use to do coupon clipping and newspaper hunting but I haven’t done that in awhile as I don’t get the newspaper right now.
