I was thinking about a comment I made a few days ago – “I’ll believe it when I see it.” There are many things in life that require observation and analysis. But there are always exceptions, don’t you know.
For example, here are some general observations:
Have you ever noticed that some of the best food you’ll ever eat can be found at the scariest looking places?
Miguel’s Authentic Mexican in Marshall, TX
Have you ever noticed that some of your closest friends are people that you’d never have thought of being friends with at first?
Have you ever realized that some of the most meaningful things in life are inexplicable and irreplaceable? (Faith, a child’s laugh, a cat’s purr…)
Have you ever stopped in a happy moment to reflect, “This is not the life I imagined as a child?”, and been grateful that it’s better than you could have dreamed?
I know what you mean about friends, Shannah. You guys are out of my league.
And darn, now I want tacos. With some of those homemade corn tortillas. Mmm.
