Out with the Old…In with the New

So I did it. I really, really did it – 101 things in 1001 days. And, as I noted on my list, I’ve made a new 101 list for the next 1001 days.

The Boy begged me to make a list of 101 things that I wouldn’t do in 1001 days. {He’s funny that way.} Instead I decided to focus on slowing down, while still including a blend of things that would be fun to do.

There’s less doing for doing’s sake (just 27% of the list involves doing something…and a goodly number are things that aren’t far from home and are designed to be shared experiences). There’s a lot more home, relationship and body/soul focus (over 50% of the list).

I think that’s doable. My challenge, of course, is to find that balance between doing things that I find interesting and exciting, and learning the pleasures of leisure and quietness.

I’m up for the task! Here’s my new list…and, of course, you can follow me for the next 101 days here.

Start date: November 27, 2012
Finish date: August 26, 2015
