I Have Had Enough

I’ve mentioned before that I keep an inspiration file of projects to tackle some day.

One of the eternal projects is sprucing up our television wall. I’d pulled this diagram from a home living magazine some time ago:

While sorting through old magazines, I found three pillowcases we’d purchased at the Musee de Cluny in Paris, featuring images from the Lady and the Unicorn Tapestry.

I’d forgotten all about them and they’d languished, buried in a desk drawer until the very moment they were needed. I found three simple frames and mocked up where they would hang on the television wall.

And there the mock-up hung. For a week. Shameful, I know.
Last night, I had enough. Down came the mock-ups and up went the framed tapestries.

The wall display still isn’t complete, but it’s looking much better. (And how sweet are these tapestry bits?!)
