Present-wrapping time at the Hayley house:
Sparkling ribbon, shiny bows, color-splashed wrapping paper, a rainbow of tissue paper and bags of assorted sizes all came out of the storage box. The guest bedroom was a tribute to the festive Christmas season,.
But mix in two cats that love ribbon and bows and paper, and the season becomes much more destructive than festive. They steal ribbon, play hockey with bows, walk on paper and, I think it’s safe to say, have much more fun through the process than the gift-wrapper does.
Cats and gifts wrapping supplies do not mix.
