Not a Good Workout Day

Bummer day at the gym yesterday. I hit the wall after jogging mile 1. 
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that today will be better. I can’t believe I’m saying it, but I actually want to run 2.5 miles!

    The solution is to find the right person to chase you (oops! run with you) as motivation.

    Now, choosing eye candy is NOT what I am talking about-too distracting. And it does not work to reverse it and say that you are chasing the eye candy-unless you are single.

    I am talking about that person who frightens you terribly. The guy you look at and say, “Wasn’t he a few blocks back watching as we walked by?” This is the guy who causes four friends to sing “Scary Man” in harmony all at once in Hot Springs. And remember-you gotta keep him behind you because he is NOT wearing any deoderant.

    “2.5 miles baby-you can do it!

    “He’s probably calling me “Baby” man, cause I’m a lot smaller than him.”

    THAT is who you need as a running partner.
