Adaptive – actually reactive – Strategy

I am tired of being behind in scrapbooking. I mean, bone tired. There are just too many random things that happen to keep me from staying on task with my hobby, and there are just too many random things in life that I want to remember in a scrapbook. It’s a dilemma.

I’ve decided to adapt my scrapbooking approach for “normal life activities.” Instead of printing photos and coming up with a layout for every single item, I’ve decided to take more photos and scrapbook them all on a calendar page. One page for each month.

Would you believe I sat down this weekend and in four hours scrapbooked the entire year up through July 25th? Amazing.

And yes, this really is a reactive move to avoid the overwhelming stacks of stuff to scrapbook. But if it works, that’s all that matters!
